Timber Frame Barn Raising

I realize it has been a long time since the last blog post, but during the summer building season, I’m lucky if the husband and I get to see each other for an hour each day when we we’re both awake. I just haven’t had time to grab his phone and get any pictures, let alone get a detailed description of each job. Perhaps I’ll be able to catch up this winter when things slow down.

In the meantime, here is a video of the Sands Timber Frame Barn for which Tom and his crew poured the foundation and slab. (I can’t embed the video from Vimeo, so you’ll have to click on the link.) The Barn Yard is the same company that built the timber frame barn for my friend Tera and her husband (which is now home to a flock of sheep). Enjoy!
